This class will focus on making Flying Geese the Studio 180 way. If you have struggled with the wings being not quite the right size, you will now be able to trim your unit, so as to not lose any corners on the wings and your flying geese will all be the correct size. Come give it a try!

You will need a Wing Clipper I tool (available at Wild Oats Sewing Co.) and a helpful addition is a Magic Wand (also available at Wild Oats Sewing Co)

In addition, you will need:

• Your sewing machine, ¼” foot if you like, and any other accessories you prefer.
• Your normal sewing notions including
• 6” square ruler or 6”x12” rectangular ruler
• Fineline marking pencil for fabric
• Thread, scissors
• Rotary cutter
• Paper and pencil and possibly a highlighter-it’s nice to highlight important facts on the instruction sheet. (TIP - visit https://deb-tuckers-studio-180-design.myshopify.com/pages/free-downloads and print a copy of the fundamental tool for your class.  This is an 8.5" x 11" set of instructions which are the same as those included with the tool but these are easier to read and take notes on)
• Invisigrip or Grippy are also recommended for our tool if desired. If you are not familiar with this, I will have some for you to look at. This can be purchased later.  These will help the tool not slide as we trim the unit.

Fabric Requirements

•          2 different colors for each one - 6 ½ square for center of flying geese
•          1/8 yard for sashing
•          1/8 yard for background
•          ¼ yard for outside border
•          Backing, batting and binding as desired
