Transform a Sweatshirt into a beautiful Jacket

Where: Wild Oats Sewing, Loveland, CO

This is a fun class where you get to express your own creativity as you transform a sweatshirt into a beautiful, wearable quilted
jacket. The possibilities are endless. Your jacket will be as unique as you are. Don’t want a jacket? Leave off the sleeves and make a quilted
vest instead.
Consider starting with orphan blocks, scraps from making face masks or leftover binding strips, or making new blocks just for
your jacket. Make it random and scrappy or choose a color scheme you’ve always wanted to explore. Your imagination is your guide.
Margaret will guide you and encourage you through all the steps: from how
you think about it to the actual making of it. It’s tons of fun and the results are always
amazing.
The class meets on 5 Thursday afternoons at 1:00 pm, starting on Sept. 3,
2026. It meets for 5 classes to make your jacket plus a 6
th get-together for a bonus
fashion show on Nov. 5, 2026.
