This pattern can be used for various sizes from baby to lap or even twin size, by utilizing the Corner Pop tool from Studio 180 and sashing strips. The sample for class is the baby size - 40"x50". It uses 4" squares made in a variety of ways - 4 strips sewn together, variegated fabric, or fussy cut fabrics. It requires a pattern and a Corner Pop tool. You can purchase the pattern and tool the day of class at Wild Oats Sewing Co.
Materials for class for the baby size (pattern has additional sizes and fabric requirements if you wish to make a larger size) will be discussed during the 1st class. Please bring a fat quarter and some scrap for practicing the corner pop on the corners, printed copy of the instructions, some note taking materials and your machine and notions that you prefer. This will allow you to practice with the tool before beginning the quilt top. I will give you several different ideas for the blocks to allow you to vary the blocks, which will change the amounts slightly. We will also discuss cutting fabric at the 1st class.
