the pie is represented by the stash in your sewing room.
What makes up the largest section of your stash? Is it
plaids and stripes, bolds and brights, or pretty florals? It’s
time to dig in, because if you’ve Got Squares, you’ve got a
head start on this quilt.

Choosing Fabric
If you’ve pulled a pile of scraps from your stash, you have a good
start on this quilt. You can use scraps as small as 3” square in this
pattern. Take a good look at what you’ve chosen and give some
consideration to a background fabric. Although the background
fabric should “read” as a solid, it doesn’t have to be a solid, and it
certainly doesn’t have to be white or beige. Let your scraps be your
guide and choose something that will complement them.
